Civil Engineering can be considered as a single largest branch among all the engineering branches. Civil engineering is the broadest of the engineering fields. Important subdivision of the field are construction engineering, irrigation engineering, transportation engineering, soils and foundation engineering, geodetic engineering, hydraulic engineering, coastal and ocean engineering. The Department of Civil Engineering was started in 2012 – 13 and has well equipped laboratories and qualified faculty members.
Civil Engineering is a profession concerned with the ways in which humans interact with both the natural and built environments. As a Civil Engineer, you will embark on a career that is challenging; rewarding and that will make a real difference in people’s everyday lives.
